What makes us different
-
When your objectives depend on great communications, you want help from someone who has advised at the highest level. Our founder was the Chief Executive of UK Government Communications - the most senior communications adviser to the UK Government. He has also worked for agencies and large, regulated companies. He personally leads every project for our clients.
-
As clients we hated obscure pricing and retainers where agencies lost interest. We focus on project-based work with upfront prices and real outcomes. Our goal is to deliver great work that would make you recommend us to others.
-
Our model is built on high-quality senior counsel, not selling junior time that could be done in-house or by AI. Our offer is high-quality advice that leaves you with a better strategy, better capability and better crisis preparedness.
Our Founder
Simon Baugh was Chief Executive of UK Government Communications from 2021 to 2025, leading more than 6,000 communications and marketing professionals.
He advised leaders in high-pressure situations, including COBR emergency meetings, and led Government Communications during the latter stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II, and Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Before Government, he worked in senior private sector roles with a focus on infrastructure and regulation.
His record includes:
Establishing the Government’s New Media Unit, which integrates specialists in data analysis, creative content and paid media to deliver audience-focussed campaigns that measurably improve public trust.
Developing an award-winning generative AI tool for public sector comms, GCS Assist, which delivered nearly £10m annual productivity benefits.
Using AI to strengthen crisis communications response plans for risks on the UK National Security Risk Assessment.
Delivering a step change in government communication skills in digital, data and AI through a learning and development programme, GCS Advance, which operated from Apprenticeship to Masters.
